The Delta Anchor was launched onto the world market in 1990, having completed a most testing R & D program, including sea trials in almost every conceivable anchoring situation. Delta has received more acclaim from the world yachting press and independent testing authorities than any other anchor in recent history. Of the prototype the RNLI said: "The most impressive result was no doubt from the 6kg Delta." which "successfully held the 33 tonne, 54 foot high windage lifeboat in Beaufort force 6 and could only be induced to break out by application of astern power." Delta is user friendly too, being designed to initiate self launch from a bow roller, to set quickly and to provide a strong hold.
