Manson Plough Anchors have hinged shanks, improving the scope of movement of the chain and weighted tip delivering secure holding in sand, weeds and mud. A Manson Plough will quickly reset in strong wind or current shifts. The stronger the pull the deeper it digs. Plough anchors have been proven all over the world. They provide the best holding in the widest variety of weather and seabed situations. In most circumstances if set correctly, the Plough, will outperform all other types of anchors.

All raw materials are specified to be of the highest available quality, as we realise using cheaper alternatives could cost lives. The assembly techniques exceed all certification companies, and subsequently all the Manson anchors are given a lifetime warranty against breakage under normal use. All the stainless steel anchors are made from 316 Low carbon plate and then painstakingly hand polished by our dedicated team of 'finishers'. Unlike cheaper cast stainless anchors, the Manson anchors will not 'pit' or stain as there are no miniscule cavities for corrosion to begin - as in cast stainless anchors.
